Acupuncture Therapy
Acupuncture at VHG is delivered by Dr Rani Mathew, who holds a BNYS degree and a postgraduate diploma in acupuncture, and has treated clients here since 2018.
Who it suits
- Chronic pain that has not settled with other approaches
- Stress and tension carried physically
- People who want a non-medicated option alongside existing treatment
- Cases where an integrated plan combines acupuncture with yoga and diet
What it involves
Consultation first
Your history and current symptoms are reviewed before any needling, and acupuncture is only recommended where it is appropriate.
Point selection for your presentation
Specific points are stimulated to address pain and the stress response, chosen for you rather than by protocol.
Single-use, sterile needles
Standard clinical hygiene practice throughout.
Combined with diet and yoga where useful
Acupuncture is often one part of an integrated plan rather than a standalone course.
What we use it for
