Pregnancy and postnatal care
Pregnancy and recovery are not one condition. Sessions are set to your stage and your comfort level, and they change as that changes.
How we approach it
Safe movement guidance for your stage, breath awareness that supports both labour preparation and recovery, and gentle stability work paced to your recovery rather than to a calendar. Sessions are adapted through each trimester and through the months after delivery.
A meta-analysis of 14 randomised controlled trials covering 3,637 women giving birth for the first time reported lower caesarean rates and shorter labour among those practising prenatal yoga, compared with controls.
What we do not claim
Supportive practice alongside your obstetrician. Continue all scheduled antenatal care and investigations. Tell us about any complication your doctor has flagged, so practice is adapted or paused.
Programmes this draws on
Pain Relief and Physiotherapy
Manual therapy and targeted exercise for chronic pain, injury recovery and restricted movement, delivered by qualified physiotherapists.
Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga
Gentle, stage-appropriate yoga through pregnancy and recovery, supervised at every stage.
Questions people ask
When in pregnancy can I start?
Bring it to the consultation. The right starting point depends on your trimester, your history and what your obstetrician has said. That conversation is the first session, not a form on a website.
Do you run postnatal sessions too?
Yes. Recovery work focuses on rebuilding core and pelvic stability, and it is paced to your recovery rather than to a fixed number of weeks.
Are the sessions women only?
Prenatal and postnatal sessions are conducted individually or within the ladies-only batch.
